Mazhar Khan hopes to put on a show for the fans at Hero Fight Night 5

Indian MMA fighter Mazhar Khan will be headlining the Hero Pro Fight Night 5 in Nashik on 24 July 2021 when he goes up against Azim Mokhlis of Afghanistan. A former Mr. Gujarat, Mazhar is coming off a victory in his last outing at Hero Pro Fight Night 4 and will be looking to continue his run this weekend as well.

Preparing for the fight amidst the pandemic is not a cakewalk and Mazhar admitted the same during an exclusive interview.

“I am ready for every competition in the way. There was a lot of problem regarding COVID. But then again, the body has to be kept fit and I believe in myself and with God,” he said.

He further went on to add that he has plenty of respect for his opponent and that he will be looking to put on a show for the fans when the fight happens.

“Azim is a good fighter and I have respected all the fighters. I have worked hard and I will try to bring a fight that people like and hope that the fight will end in the 1st round. There is a lot of hope for this fight from the people as well,” he added.

While Mazhar and Azim headlines, the co-main event will happen between Akib Ali and Sultan Kokni. Hero Pro Fight Night 5 will happen on 24 July 2021 in Nashik and will be streamed on the social media pages of Hero MMA.
