Hero Fight Night is set to return with their newest event, Hero Pro Fight Night 5 on 24 July 2021 from Nashik.
The promotion has announced that the event will be headlined by the India vs. Afghanistan lightweight showdown featuring Azim Mokhlis and Mazhar Khan. Another match announced for the event is Utpal Chang Mai vs. Ravi Saw. The upcoming Indian MMA fighters will lock horns in a Bantamweight bout at the event.
Earlier, Hero Fight Night had announced Hero Pro Fight Night 5 but the event had to be postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19 Pandemic. With the restrictions being slowly lifted across India, the event is expected to go ahead without many hurdles.
The second-wave of COVID-19 had resulted in the postponement of multiple MMA events across the country. There were state-level restrictions across the nation due to the second wave as well.
