Matrix Fight Night 6: Anshul Jubli vs. Mohd Mahmoudiyan to be new main event
16 September 2021Matrix Fight Night 6 has a new main event. Undefeated Indian prospect Anshul Jubli will be going up against Mohammed Mahmoudiyan of Iran in a Lightweight contest at the event and this will serve as the new headliner.

The initial main event between Bhabajeet Choudhury and Jason Ramesh Solomon was earlier called off as we reported earlier. Anshul was supposed to fight in the co-main event of the card against Farhad Hazratzada of Afghanistan, however, apparently, Farhad will not be on the card as well-meaning that we have a new main event.
Anshul is currently undefeated in his professional MMA career and in Matrix Fight Night having picked up four straight wins. Mahmoudiyan, meanwhile, is holding a professional record of 2-1 to his name and has fought mostly in Iran.
Srikant Sekhar will be going up against Vikas Ruhil as reported earlier when Amit Raj and Sandeep Dahiya will be locking horns in a catchweight bout. Additionally, the promotion has announced showdowns such as Jacky Gahlot vs. Sanjeet Budhwar, Punyajit Likharu vs. Anthony Syiem, Jojo Rajakumari vs. Puja Tomar, Musa Raish vs. Abhimanyu Rai and Dhruv Chaudhary vs. Sumeet Khade which were earlier announced for Matrix Fight Night 6 before the event was postponed. Seth Rosario vs. Hemant Wadekar, which was another fight scheduled to happen at the event is apparently off the table as per reports from One Dojo.
MFN 6 is scheduled to happen on 24 September 2021 in Dubai. The event was supposed to happen earlier this year but was postponed due to the pandemic situation that was prevailing.
