The new fight card for Matrix Fight Night 6 (MFN 6) is here. The card, which was initially announced underwent some major changes over the past few months but a string of exciting fights have been retained.
As we noted earlier, the main event of Matrix Fight Night 6 will be between Anshul Jubli and Mohd. Mahmoudiyan of Iran. Anshul, who comes in with an undefeated record of 4-0 to his name, will be looking to extend the same when Mahmoudiyan will be looking to score an upset.
In the co-main event, Jacky Gahlot will fight Sanjeet Budhwar. This was one of the originally planned fights for MFN 6. Sanjeet has been on an impressive run in the promotion and has only lost to Anshul Jubli. Gahlot, meanwhile, had secured a win over Angad Bisht as well.
Sandeep Kumar Dahiya and Amit Raj will lock horns in a catchweight bout. Amit Raj is coming off a defeat against Anshul Jubli and had defeated Vijay Saini at MFN 1 prior to that. Sandeep, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back strongly from his defeat against Pawan Maan.
The much-awaited fight between Vikas Ruhil and Srikant Sekhar will not be happening at the event and instead, Srikant will fight promotional debutant Satyajit Changmai. Satyajit holds an undefeated record and the last time these two fought, the fight had ended in a no-contest. Srikant Sekhar, meanwhile, is coming off a defeat against Anshul Jubli at Matrix Fight Night 5.
Puja Tomar will be making her promotional debut against Manipur’s Jojo Rajakumari in an Atomweight contest which will also be the sole female fight on the card. Puja has plenty of experience to showcase on her resume having fought in the Super Fight League and ONE Championship. She is also a multiple time Wushu Champion. Jojo, meanwhile, made headlines recently with her story and has the opportunity to produce a huge upset.
Puyajit Likharu vs. Anthony Syiem and Musa Raish vs. Abhimanyu Rai are two fights that could steal the show when the trilogy bout between Sumeet Khade and Dhruv Chaudhary will act as a card opener. Dhruv and Sumeet are currently 1-1 in head to head fights and it would be interesting to see who takes home the win.
