Indian MMA prospect Monjit “Shotgun” Yein suffered the first loss of his professional career after falling to Tajikistan’s Parviz “Aggressor” Khamidzhonov at ONE Friday Fights 156 on Friday at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Entering the contest undefeated and looking to make a statement on the global stage, Yein faced a tough challenge in Khamidzhonov. The Uzbek fighter wasted no time, securing a rear-naked choke submission just 26 seconds into the opening round to hand the Indian star his first professional defeat.
Khamidzhonov quickly took control of the contest from the opening bell, capitalizing on an early opportunity to secure a dominant position before locking in the fight-ending choke. The rapid finish stunned fans and marked one of the quickest submissions of the event.
