The LPS Fight Night which was scheduled to happen on May 7, 2021, in Mizoram has been postponed. The announcement was made by Marine Pro Boxing Promotions through their social media channels.

“Due to uncertain rise of second-wave COVID cases across India, the team at LPS Vision Productions & Marine Pro Boxing Promotions have decided to postpone the show. The IBA Intercontinental Title & IBA Asia Title remains confirmed. NEW DATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON ! Stay Safe everyone”
The card was scheduled to feature the IBA Title showdown between Nutlai Lalbiakkima and Sandeep Singh along with the fight between Vimal Punera and Hansraj.
A string of combat sports events has been postponed across India due to the second wave of COVID-19 and LPS Fight Night is the latest addition to the list. The nation has hit a total number of 13.9 Million cases and 172,000 deaths with Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka being the states with the most number of cases.
Mizoram, where the event was scheduled to happen, has reported a total of 4685 cases and 12 deaths.
