A new date has been announced for the IBA Title showdown between Nutlai Lalbiakkima and Sandeep Singh. The bout which was earlier scheduled to happen on April 17, 2021, will now happen on May 7, 2021, in Mizoram and will be on pay-per-view.

The event will be promoted by Marine Pro Boxing Promotions and LPS Fight Night with the pay-per-view being available on LPS and FITE USA. The announcement was made by LPS Vision Production last day.
Nutlai, who hails from Mizoram, made headlines back in 2018 in the amateur circuit by defeating Olympic Gold Medalist and World Number 1 Hasanboy Dusmatov. He made his professional boxing debut recently at the Warrior Boxing Series hosted by Marine Pro Boxing Promotions and secured a first-round TKO victory as well.
Sandeep Singh, on the other hand, will have an opportunity to pull off a huge upset and become an IBA Champion from India if he stops Nutlai at the event.
