Proud of my big brother: Victoria Lee on the double title win of Christian Lee

Victoria "The Prodigy" Lee, a mixed martial artist who is 18 years old, put competition on hold in 2022 so she could concentrate on finishing high school, but she has huge ambitions to return in the following year.

After watching her older brother create history at ONE on Prime Video 4, the emerging star with a 3-0 record has been working hard in the gym to ensure she is prepared for action early in 2023.

On November 18, Christian Lee defeated Kiamrian Abbasov to claim the ONE Welterweight World Title, making him the first person to hold the title in two different weight classes.

It was a significant triumph for "The Warrior," and his younger sister found much inspiration in watching him train in camp and perform under the spotlight.

“Oh man, I’m so proud of my big brother. Just being able to be in the gym and watch him grind and push so hard in all of his training sessions, and watch the fight and see it play out so beautifully,” She said in an interview with ONE Championship.

Although "The Warrior" had to use a lot of skill to defeat Abbasov in Singapore, his sister was more impressed by the courage her brother shown during the contest.

After taking significant damage in game one, the challenger bounced back to earn a spectacular victory in round four. The Prodigy believes that what actually distinguishes the finest athletes from the rest is resilience.

“It showed the heart of a true champion. It was really inspiring in general. The way that he was able to push through and fight through that adversity and come out on top was just an amazing finish really. I think that performance is just the true definition of what a champion is. He was able to showcase his skills so perfectly and overcome the adversity and really show why he’s the double-champ,” she added.
