After nine months and numerous cancellations, the hotly anticipated showdown between ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn and Chingiz Allazov is finally happening.
The duo will collide in the main event of ONE Fight Night 6 on Saturday, 14 January, at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, in a bout that has had fight fans relishing for almost a year.
The two were last seen inside the ONE Circle last March at ONE X, where Superbon defeated Marat Grigorian by unanimous decision to hold onto his featherweight kickboxing crown and Allazov captured the illustrious ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Title to earn a shot at Superbon.
With two previous rearrangements behind them at ONE Fight Night 2 and ONE Fight Night 5, the athletes are ready to let sparks fly this month. Having remained patient, Superbon cannot wait to get back in there.

“Chingiz and I are in the top form. This fight will be super exciting,” the Bangkok native predicted.
“He wants my belt and I want to beat every contender in the ranking. It’s now or never for me and Chingiz. If we miss this chance, I don’t know when we will have a chance to fight again. I would say that this is the fight every kickboxing fan must watch.”
Assessing his Belarusian adversary, Superbon recognizes Allazov as a viable threat to his crown.
However, having dispatched some of ONE’s greatest names in the sport (he won ONE’s 2021 Knockout of the Year by finishing kickboxing GOAT Giorgio Petrosyan), the Thai standout remains unfazed by “Chinga” as the bout draws near.
“He is a strong opponent. He just won the World Grand Prix tournament,” the man with 113 victories said.
“He is one of the best kickboxers in ONE. But, for me, he’s not better than Petrosyan, Marat, or Sittichai. If I’m not careless, I will never lose to him. And careless is not in my dictionary.

“He changes his style a lot, but I don’t think he has more than two or three styles up his sleeve. So, he is still predictable, and I think my style is more stable and effective than his. I have really, really good defense, so no matter what tricks he uses, I’ll be ready for it.”
