Indian MMA star Anshul Jubli is ready for his Road to UFC showdown in Abu Dhabi against Kyung Pyo Kim. Anshul posted about the same on his Instagram account last day and noted that he will go to war in 10 days.
“10 days until we go to War,” Anshul noted.
The undefeated Indian Lightweight will be fighting Kyung Pyo Kim in the Semi-finals of Road to UFC. The fight will happen on October 23, 2022, and the winner will advance to the finals.
Earlier, Anshul had secured a spot in the semi-finals after his quarter-final opponent Sho Patrick Usami had weight management issues. Usami was eventually taken out of the bracket which gave Anshul a walkover into the semi-finals.

Training out of Crosstrain Fight Club in Delhi under Siddharth Singh, Anshul has been busy with his camp for the fight in Thailand.
Anshul is currently training in Soma Fight Club and the team also gave an update on the preparations for the fight.

The Indian holds a professional MMA record of 5-0 to his name and was fighting in Matrix Fight Night before embarking on the Road to UFC journey.
He made his professional debut back in 2019 after being undefeated in the amateur circuit. After making his debut in 2019, Anshul went on to fight five times in MFN where he secured two finishes and three dominant decision victories.
Kyung Pyo Kim comes into the fight after a dominant win
South Korea’s Kyung Pyo Kim comes into the fight with Anshul with a record of 11-3 to his name. The South Korean had a dominant victory in his quarter-final outing at the Road to UFC. He went up against Asikeerbai Jinensibieke at the event and secured a finish in just 30 seconds into the fight.
Prior to his run in Road to UFC, Kyung fought in RCC, UAE Warriors, AFC, and Road FC among others. He has 9 finishes on his resume with six of them coming via TKO/KO when three have come via submissions.
