Priya Sharma set to make Muay Thai return on 27 August 2022 in Thailand

Indian Fighter Priya Sharma is set to make her Muay Thai return on 27 August 2022 at the Fairtex Fight Promotion in Thailand. The fight will happen at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium and earlier, Priya had become the first female Indian fighter to compete at the Lumpinee stadium.

She is coming off a win in her last bout which happened under MMA rules at Fairtex Fight Promotion. In the fight, Priya went up against Kanjana of Thailand and produced a memorable performance which saw her landing some excellent combinations before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

She will be looking to build on that momentum when she returns to fight in August against her opponent who is yet to be announced.

One of the most experienced names in the Indian Combat Sports circuit, Priya noted that she is eager to be more and more active in the coming month in an exclusive statement. She also added that she is looking to compete in both Muay-Thai and MMA.

Training out of the Fairtex Gym in Thailand, Priya trains with names like Two-Sport World Champion Stamp Fairtex, and Pakistani MMA star Uloomi Karim among others.

She has been involved with combat sports for more than a decade now and was part of the SFL Challengers show which was the first MMA-based reality show in India. Priya also has a wealth of experience on the domestic Indian circuit across multiple disciplines.

Before concluding, Priya noted that she is on the lookout for sponsors ahead of the fight.
