When Stephen Loman challenges former bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes at ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18, Team Lakay might have a new challenger on their hands.

Joshua Pacio, aka "The Passion," the current ONE strawweight world champion and Loman's training partner, thinks "The Sniper" can beat the odds. He has faith that Loman would triumph over the former world champion and get a crack at the bantamweight championship.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Pacio noted the same and added that a win against Bibiano Fernandes is what Loman needs at this point of his career.

"Stephen Loman is in a great position right now. I believe if he beats Bibiano Fernandes, he will be next in line to fight for the belt. We are excited,” he said.

However, it would be easier said than done for the former BRAVE CF Bantamweight champion. Brazilian Fernandes will put his all into this bout in an effort to win as he attempts to bounce back from losing his world title. On November 18, Filipino-born fighter Stephen Loman will attempt to advance to the top three with a victory.

Interestingly, Pacio will also be in action on the same fight card as Loman.

Joshua Pacio, the current ONE strawweight world champion, will battle American wrestler Jarred Brooks in the Philippines, putting his title on the line. The two have been scheduled to square off at One 164 on December 3.

This will prove to be a huge turning point in the heated rivalry between Pacio and Brooks.
