I am stronger and more powerful: Manon Fiorot on Valentina Shevchenko

Manon Fiorot is set to lock horns with Katlyn Chookagian at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi on October 22, 2022. The fight is going to be a crucial one for both fighters. Chookagian has been the top contender in the Flyweight division for a long time and she will be looking to get another shot at Valentina Shevchenko by adding a win to her resume over Fiorot.

Fiorot, on the other hand, has been climbing the ranks quickly and is undefeated in the UFC so far with a record of 4-0. In her last outing, she outclassed Jennifer Maia and will be eager to produce a winning performance against Chookagian at UFC 280.

While Chookagian is the immediate challenge for Fiorot, she seems to be on a Collison course with UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.

The French MMA superstar was asked about the possibility of fighting Valentina Shevchenko in her recent interview with Sportskeeda MMA and Fiorot noted that she is more powerful and stronger than Shevchenko.

"For now I'm very focused on Katlyn and we'll take the fight step by step. But if I have to talk about the future and the fight against Valentina, I think 5 rounds is better for me because I know I have great conditioning. I think I am more powerful and [have] more strength and technically, I think it's the same thing,” she said in the interview.

Fiorot is considered to be a future champion by many. She is a former IMMAF World Champion in the Amateur Circuit and is indeed someone worth watching out for when it comes to the UFC Flyweight division.
