Manon Fiorot picked up another impressive win recently at UFC Columbus and the UFC Flyweight is looking forward to a potential clash with reigning UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.

Fiorot went up against Jennifer Maia this past weekend at UFC Columbus and secured a comfortable unanimous decision win which saw her secure the score of 30-27 across all three scorecards. Speaking after the fight, Fiorot said that she is happy with her activity.

“I’m really happy. I’m here to fight every three or four months and I want to finish the fights and end the fights. I’m very happy with my performance tonight because I know she’s a tough opponent. She is a highly ranked and very experienced fighter, so I’m happy tonight. … The most important thing is that I won tonight to get a better place in the rankings, but I am disappointed I did not finish the fight,” she said (via MMA Junkie)

When asked about a potential clash with Shevchenko, the IMMAF standout noted that she is ready for the challenge while adding that she might need one more fight.

“I’m pretty sure I could win now. But to be sure and be more relaxed, I want to win one more fight to be like home in the UFC cage,” she said.

Valentina Shevchenko has been unstoppable in the UFC Flyweight division and is set to fight Talia Santos at UFC 275 in June.
