KSW is all set to roll out one of the biggest fights in the promotion’s history at KSW 77 as Mariusz Pudzianowski and Mamed Khalidov are set to lock horns.
The promotion has announced that the KSW veterans will fight in the main event of KSW 77 on December 17, 2022. The event will happen at Gliwice Arena in Gliwice, Poland and will be available as a pay-per-view on the official website of KSW.
Pudzianowski holds a professional MMA record of 17-7 to his name and is a multi-time ‘World’s Strongest Man' champion. The Polish star has spent almost all his MMA career in KSW with his career starting back in 2009 with KSW 12 where he secured a win against Marcin Najman.
The 45-year-old is riding high on a five-fight winning streak at the moment. He has not lost a fight since 2019 and will be looking to keep it that way when he fights Khalidov in December.
As for Khalidov, he hails from Poland and has a record of 35-8-2 to his name. His last fight came against Roberto Soldic in December 2021. It was Soldic that came out on top in the fight with a knockout win after which he moved on to ONE Championship.

Prior to this, Khalidov had secured a win over Scott Askham but is on a slow run with only one loss in his last five fights. Just like Pudzianowski, Khalidov has been a mainstay in KSW for many years now with his association with the promotion dating back to 2007. He had, however, started his MMA career in 2004 and has fought in Shooto Lithuania, FCP, and Shidokan Poland Gala among others.
The fight between the two is promoted as one of the biggest fights in KSW history and it is also being billed as the most expensive fight in European MMA history.
However, prior to the showdown between the two huge stars, KSW will have two more events. KSW 75 will happen on October 14, 2022, and this will be followed by KSW 76 which happens on November 12, 2022.
KSW 75 will see Robert Ruchala fighting Damian Stasiak in a 145-pound fight while the fight between Michal Martinek and Daniel Omielanczuk will serve as the co-main event.
As for KSW 76, the event will see Marian Ziolkowski fighting Salahdine Parnasse for the Lightweight title.
