Jarred Brooks ready to fight Rodtang for a date with Stamp Fairtex

ONE Championship strawweight contender Jarred Brooks is ready to fight Rodtang Jitmuangnon if he can get a date with former two-sport champion Stamp Fairtex.

Brooks revealed the same during a recent interview with MMA Sucka and noted what Stamp told him.

“Stamp told me that if I won the ONE Muay Thai world championship or a Grand Prix then she would [go on a date with me]. Then I was like, where’s the stipulation for that, man? Jonathan Haggerty’s a gangster. You got so many guys that have been fighting for so many years,” Brooks noted in the interview.

Elaborating further, he added that he is ready to take the risk and fight Rodtang if provided the opportunity.

“That’s like saying ‘Hey, Stamp if you win a world championship in wrestling’...But at the same time, I’m willing to take the risk, Stamp. I’m a single man now, it’s like wassup? If we see each other, we see each other,” he added.

Brooks is all set to fight Joshua Pacio next for the ONE Strawweight title and has already expressed his interest in a mixed rules fight. The American has been unstoppable in ONE Championship so far and will be looking to continue his dominant run when he fights The Team Lakay champion in Manila.

Rodtang, interestingly, had fought Demetrious Johnson in an MMA – Muay Thai Mixed Rules fight in which he suffered a submission loss. Rodtang is now set to return to action against Joseph Lasiri next.
