Jarred Brooks shares his old photo, blasts Filipino MMA fans and Joshua Pacio

Jarred Brooks is not happy with people accusing him of being on steroids. The ONE Championship title contender noted on Twitter last day that the Filipino MMA fans and ONE Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio is talking about him being on steroids.

To show his natural athleticism, Brooks shared a photo of him when he was eight years old and noted that he always had strength.

“This is me at 8years old. All these Philippine people saying I’m on steroids including one champion Joshua Pacio. I have had the strength since I was 6years old thats god given. Freak off now,” Brooks noted.

The former UFC star has been on an impressive run in ONE Championship and is next in line to get the title shot against Joshua Pacio. The fight, however, is yet to materialize due to one reason or the other.

Team Lakay star Joshua Pacio has been on top of the ONE Strawweight division for some time now and the Filipino currently holds a record of 19-3 to his name. He is currently on a four-fight winning streak having defeated Yosuke Saruta (2), Alex Silva and Rene Catalan.

Jarred Brooks, on the other hand, is 19-2 in his professional MMA career and had fought in Bellator MMA and UFC before joining ONE Championship. He started his run in ONE Championship with a win over Pacio’s teammate Lito Adiwang. He then took out Koha Minowa and Bokang Masunyane at ONE: Only the BRAVE and ONE: 156 respectively to earn himself a title shot against Pacio.
