Fabricio Andrade, the recently crowned world champion bantamweight mixed martial artist, is still basking in the euphoria of his victory against competitor John Lineker in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7 on Amazon Video.
On February 24, two Brazilian knockout artists captivated the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium crowd in Thailand and the millions of viewers watching live across the world.
Following four rounds of intense, back-and-forth combat, Lineker was unable to answer the bell for the fifth round due to a gash above his right eye that ended the bout.
The young Brazilian is eagerly anticipating his first World Title defence as he continues to rehabilitate.

Although Andrade still views "Hands of Stone" as the most significant threat, he thinks the up-and-coming Filipino star Stephen Loman, who has won three straight matches against top opposition, is the most worthy opponent moving forward.
“I think that Lineker, in my opinion, remains the toughest guy in the division. So, I think it will depend on the next fights. There’s already Stephen Loman in line, who beat [former World Champion] Bibiano Fernandes and should be the next to get a title shot,” Loman told to ONE Championship.
Andrade noted that he wants to fight Loman as soon as possible.
“I intend to fight as soon as possible, but it will depend on my recovery. I will do everything to recover quickly from this hand injury to get back up in the ONE Circle. And next in line is Stephen Loman. So he can start training now,” he added.
The Brazilian also touched upon the scale of his injuries and noted that they were minor.
“We were both badly hurt and ended up in the hospital. We met there quickly and we only took a photo. I was medicated, so I was already on another planet (laughs). And the result of the exams only showed that I broke a finger and will have to stay out of work for a few months,” Andrade added.
