Aung La N Sang reveals Anderson Silva as his dream opponent

Former ONE Championship two-division champion Aung La N Sang has revealed his dream opponent. Aung La N Sang was featured on a Reddit AMA recently ahead of his fight against Fan Rong and was asked about his dream opponent.

“Hi champ, if you could pick any fighter present or past to fight in their prime with you also in your prime who would it be, and why?,” the question to Aung La read.

The Burmese Python quickly pointed out Anderson Silva and pointed out Silva as the greatest middleweight of all time.

“Anderson Silva for sure. The greatest middleweight of all time,” Aung La noted.

Aung La was also asked whether he holds any personal grudge against Reinier De Ridder. However, Aung La ruled out the same and noted that he doesn’t have time to hate people.

“I don’t have time to hate people. I don’t hate anyone of my opponents. I know some of them at times can be immature or a jerk but I will never try to sell a fight with hatred. I’ve got three kids and what kind of role am I setting creating this drama and all the negativity? I will just show up on my contracted date and do what I’m contracted to do,” Aung La wrote.

Interestingly, one reddit user just wished Aung La well and was met with a warm response from the former champion.

“Thank you! I know I can’t see you through the keyboard but I wish you the same my friend. Health, happiness and success my friend,” Aung La replied.

Aung La is set to lock horns with Fan Rong next and he will be looking to get closer to the ONE Middleweight title with a win.
