Bigdash misses weight for Aung La trilogy, fight to go ahead at catchweight

The much-awaited trilogy fight between Vitaly Bigdash and Aung La N Sang will now happen at Catchweight. This is after Vitaly Bigdash failed to be under the Middleweight limit of 93 KG despite passing the hydration test.

Despite not coming under the limit, both the fighters have agreed to go ahead with the fight at a catchweight of 95 KG.

“Vitaly Bigdash passes hydration but fails to register under the middleweight limit of 93.0 KG. Catchweight of 95.0 KG has been agreed to by his opponent,” an official statement from ONE Championship read.

Bigdash and Aung La will be locking horns for the third time as the fighters have earlier fought twice. The rivalry currently stands at 1-1 between the two and the score is expected to be settled at ONE: Full Circle this weekend.

Apart from Bigdash, Zebaztian Kadestam also missed the weight.

“Zebaztian Kadestam passes hydration but fails to register under the welterweight limit of 83.90 KG. Catchweight of 87.30 KG has been agreed to by his opponent,” ONE Championship stated.
