Bahrain started on a strong note in the match and went up 2-0 by securing two back-to-back wins. Aieza Ramos Bertozo picked up the first win for Bahrain via a decision and this was followed by ADCC World Champion Bianca Basilio who successfully made her amateur MMA debut with a first-round submission.

Tajikistan came back into the match in the next bout through Akrom Uzakov who picked up a win against Abdulla Mubarak. Haji Mohamed got Bahrain back into winning ways when he outclassed Bakhtiyor Husainov via a decision. Haji’s win took the lead of Bahrain to 3-1.
