Indian MMA Fighters Vidhant Panchal and Parth Landge earned submission victories at the Octagon FC event in Malaysia, while compatriot Sarthik Hegde fell short in a decision loss.
Panchal, competing in the flyweight division, submitted Malaysia’s Rex Then in the second round via rear-naked choke. Landge followed with a third-round rear-naked choke win over Singapore’s Seou Eugene in a featherweight bout.
In the welterweight division, Sarthik went the distance against Singapore’s Aloysius Hung but dropped a unanimous decision.
The results add to a growing presence of Indian fighters on the Southeast Asian MMA circuit, with both Panchal and Landge extending their profiles through decisive finishes and moving forward in the tournament brackets of the event. All three fighters train out of Team Relentless In Mumbai.
