MMA Super Cup: Mexico cruises into the semi-finals with a win over Arab Champion

Mexico booked their place in the semi-finals of the MMA Super Cup with a win over Arab Champions in the quarter-finals.

Mexico opened the fight on a 2-0 advantage as the team had two walkover wins. Violeta Mendoza Corral got a walkover in the last minute when Miguel Angel Serna Castro had got the bye last day.

Andrea Gabriela Guzman Salazar got a second-round TKO win against Maha Houimel and made it 3-0 for Mexico. Salazar had a dominant performance and pushed the team closer to a spot in the semi-finals.

Mexico continued their dominance in the next fight, as well as Jorge Antonio Lopez Perez, took home a decision win against Fars Khalid Alraimi to make it 4-0. Anthony Ramirez Amado guaranteed the spot for Mexico in the semi-finals when he outclassed Osama Raddad via a decision. The win of Amado made it 5-0 for Mexico with four fights left.

Once the progress was confirmed, Team Mexico decided to forfeit their remaining bouts in an interesting turn of events.

Mexico will now face Team Ireland in the semi-finals of the MMA Super Cup. Below are the results from the event,
