MMA Events in India to watch out for in November and December

It is going to be a busy two months for the Indian MMA scene as the calendar is packed with some exciting events. From International promotions to National Amateur Championships, more than 10 events will be held across the nation over the span of next two months.

Below is the list of combat sports events that have been announced so far for November and December in chronological order. 

AIMMAA National Open MMA Championship (November 2019)

All India Mixed Martial Arts Association (AIMMAA) will be heading down South this time for their National MMA championship. The event, which will be held in the Calicut Indoor Stadium in Kozhikode is expected to witness a strong participation from amateur MMA fighters across the nation. The event will happen on November 9 and November 10.

UAE Warriors (November 2019):  The event is postponed and will happen on November 29 in Abu Dhabi 

UAE Warriors is reportedly set to host a show in Delhi on November 9, 2019. As of writing, some big names like Sumeet Khade, Bhabajeet Chaudhury, Yadwinder Singh and Priya Sharma has been signed for the show. The fight card is expected to feature Indian fighters going up against foreign nationalities.

Mysore Fight Night 2 (November 2019) 

Mysore is all set to witness another exciting fight night as Mysore Socials will be hosting Mysore Fight Night 2 on November 9. Though the fight card will feature Kickboxing bouts mainly, it will see some well-known MMA fighters from the Southern Part of the nation.

Hosharu Fighting Championship (November 2019)

On November 10, Hosharu Fighting Championship will hold a fight card consisting of India vs. Afghanistan matches. The event will be held in Sector 49, Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

AIMMAF National Open MMA Championship (November 2019)

All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation (AIMMAF) will be joining hands with IHFF to roll out their National Amateur MMA championship on November 15, 16, and 17. The event will be held in BEC, Mumbai and considering the recent successes of the AIMMAF state championships, a strong event can be expected.

BOOM MMA – IPFL (November 2019)

BOOM MMA will be returning in November with an event at PC Chandra Gardens in Kolkata. No Fight card details are revealed as of now for the event. The event will happen on November 16 and 17. Checkout the promo video for the event by clicking here

Indian Combat League (November 2019)

Indian Combat League will be held on November 22, 23 and 24 at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. The event is expected to feature both Indian and foreign fighters and the team has signed up Indian MMA star Sumeet Khade as the Technical Director.

Brave CF 30 (November 2019)

Brave Combat Federation will be making their return to India with Brave CF 30. The event was announced by the promotion back in September and it will be held on November 23. Hyderabad will be hosting the event and just like all the other events in the list, this one will also feature many Indian MMA names.

Hyderabad Fight Night 2 (November 2019)

After a successful first edition at Sarath City Capital Mall in October, Hyderabad Fight Night will return for their second edition in November. Though the team has announced the second edition, no other details have been revealed as of now.

Battle Night (November 2019)

Indore will witness some high-octane MMA action on November 23 as Battle Night is scheduled to take place. Names like Suraj Patkar, Shiv Chowdhury among others are announced for the event. 

Aztecs Fight League (November 2019) 

Aztecs Fight League is scheduled to take place from November 27 to November 29 in Imphal, Manipur. The event will be held at the Aztecs Fight Studio in BT Road, Imphal.

BOOM MMA – IPFL and Asian Open MMA championship (December 2019) 

BOOM MMA will be hosting one of their biggest events till date in December. The event which will be held on December 6, 7 and 8 will also include an Asian Open MMA championship for Amateur fighters. Former UFC Fighter Will Chope will be in action at the event while Ateet Kelvin Gupta is another name confirmed.

Pro Combat Fight League (December 2019)

Pro Combat Fight League held their first event in Greater Noida in October and it proved to be a success story. The event had featured Indian as well as International Fighters and the team has announced that they will be returning in December. No Dates have been announced as of now.  

Matrix Fight Night 3 (December 2019)

Matrix Fight Night is scheduled to make their return in December. The promotion will roll out their third edition on December. The event will be held on 20 December at the DOME in Mumbai and is expected to follow up on all the rivalries that have been boiling since Matrix Fight Night 2.

Palghar Fighting League (December 2019)

Palghar will witness a full fledged amateur MMA and grappling championships in December and will be hosting athletes from three countries. The fight card for the amateur MMA event will be revealed in December as per the organizers.


Apart from all these, the Indian Team will be competing at the IMMAF-WMMAA World Championships in Bahrain from November 11 to November 16. India will be witnessing a strong participation this year and the team has already completed their first fight camp. Roshan Mainam will also be making his ONE Championship debut in November which is another thing worth looking forward to. Indian Fighters will also be competing at the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts World Championship which will be held in Singapore from 18th to 23rd November.
