Soul of Warriors MMA Fight Series set to start from March in Kolkata

The Indian MMA scene is set to witness the start of another interesting promotion as Kolkata based Aqlib Entertainment will be kick-starting Soul of Warriors MMA Fight Series from March.

In a press release shared with LockerRoom, the promotion noted that they are planning to hold six events across the span of 12 months with each event having 10 fights. You can read the statement below.

Soul Of Warriors #MMAfightseries wishes everybody a very Happy New Year and in this beautiful occasion we are pleased to announce the official launch of Soul Of Warriors (SOW) MMA Fight Series. SOW, is the initiative of Aqlib Entertainment, a Sports/ Talent / Entertainment /Event Promotion & Management Company in Kolkata. SOW, is initially focused on operating 6 events in 12 months basis, 10 fights in each event (3 main card, 3 mid card, 4 under cards). The undercards will be amateur and mid & main will be the pro cards. Main Event & main card fighters will be scheduled on the basis of their official records in Sherdog and rankings in Tapology. The rules will be Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts. SOW events will be live in their website

The promotion also announced that they will be hosting the first event on 28 March 2020 in Kolkata. The venue of the same is expected to be announced soon.
