LPS Fight Night is all set to make its return on 27 November 2021 in association with Marine Pro Boxing Promotions and will be headlined by Indian boxing star Nutlai Lalbiakkima.
The event, which will happen at the Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall in Aizawl, Mizoram, will see Nutlai going up against Gerttipong Kumsahwat of Thailand with the IBA Intercontinental title on the line.
Currently the top-ranked Minimum weight in India, Nutlai holds a professional record of 2-0 to his name. He made his professional boxing record back in 2020 at Marine Pro Boxing Promotions with a win against Aman Dilawar. A year later, Nutlai secured the IBA Intercontinental title with a win over Sandeep Singh and will be making his first title defense at LPS Fight Night in Mizoram.
Prior to his professional boxing run, Nutlai had a strong showing in the amateur circuit. He made headlines back in 2018 in the amateur circuit by defeating Olympic Gold Medalist and World Number 1 Hasanboy Dusmatov.
Gerttipong Kumsahwat, meanwhile, currently holds a professional record of 6-9 to his name. He is coming off a win against Benjaphon Phokam in his last fight and is 3-2 in his last five professional bouts.
The title fight will serve as the main event for the show which will feature a string of other exciting boxing bouts as well. The event will be live on LPS 1 and Chhimbal PPV. You can see the complete fight card for the event below.
