Filipino MMA fighter Jeremy Miado is set to make his ONE Championship return at ONE: Heavy Hitters. Miado will be going up against Japanese veteran Senzo Ikeda at the event and the stakes are sky high.
Currently holding a record of 10-4 to his name, Miado is on a two-fight winning streak having defeated Li Tao Miao twice in ONE Championship. Speaking to ONE Championship, Miado said that Ikedi will be the biggest test of his career so far.
“He’s a very experienced fighter, and he’s no pushover. He’s already become a champion in Japan, and we all know the caliber of fighters there – they’re all very good. That’s why I consider him as my biggest test,” he said.

Miado further went on to add that he is looking to get a finish in the fight and added that he is looking for a top contender from the Strawweight division if he gets a win.
“I want a finish. I don’t want to leave it in the hands of the judges. Either a TKO or KO victory will work for me. I know I deserve it if I win here. I really don’t have a problem with facing Ikeda, because this is an opportunity to showcase myself and prove that I belong in the rankings. I need to beat Ikeda to prove that I deserve a ranked opponent. I know there are a lot of great fighters in this weight class,” he said.
