Fabricio Andrade feels that Team Lakay star Stephen Loman is not on his level. Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Andrade noted that Loman struggled against Shoko Sato. He also pointed out that Shoko Sato is someone that he comfortably defeated back in 2021.

Addressing the promotional debut of Loman, Andrade said that the Filipino got the KO win over an ‘old guy’.

“He fought an old guy. Easy, you know. Before he fought Shoko Sato, I thought he was a good opponent. He came in with a nine-fight win streak, BRAVE CF champion, I beat this guy [Shoko Sato] maybe two years ago and Loman fought him now and he couldn’t stand with him. He had to put him down. That shows our striking is not on the same level. I thought he could be a good opponent but after the Shoko Sato fight, honestly, he is not on my level,” Andrade told.

Andrade is riding high on the momentum at the moment and is undefeated in ONE Championship at the moment. He secured an impressive stoppage win over Kwon Won Il recently and is looking for a title fight with John Lineker now.

In the same interview, Andrade said that Loman’s teammate and former champion Kevin Belingon should not be even in the ONE Bantamweight rankings. He also suggested that former champion Bibiano Fernandes should consider retiring from the sport.
