MMA fans can be hard sometimes but Tracy Cortez is having none of it. The American is currently on an impressive 10-fight winning streak and holds a professional MMA record of 10-1 to her name.

Her last fight came against Melissa Gatto at UFC 274 in 2022 and the UFC star has been out of action due to an injury.

A fan on Twitter decided to react to a new post from Tracy and claimed that the fighter is turning into a social media influencer.

“Will Tracy be the next Rachael Ostovich? Coming off a bad break up. Leaving the UFC, barely fights and then just becomes a social media influencer?,” a twitter user with the username @mrjohnnytokes noted on twitter.

The take, however, did not sit well with Tracy who decided to give her side of the story.

She reminded the fan that she is out of action due to injury and that people have life outside MMA.

“Tracy will be Tracy I will do as she pleases. I’m injured and was a weekend lol y’all just love tearing people down don’t cha … #MMA TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELS PLZ .. we have a life OUTSIDE of fighting,” she noted.

While the user has replied to the response from Tracy, the UFC fighter has found a long list of supporters for her courage to stand up.

Tracy made her UFC debut back in 2019 when she outclassed Vanessa Melo at UFC Fight Night 164. After this, she went on to secure a decision win over Stephanie Egger at UFC Fight Night 179 as well. A win against Justine Kish followed which improved her record to 3-0 in the UFC before her most recent win against Melissa Gatto.

She also holds wins over Maria Agapova and Erin Blanchfield.
