Paige VanZant is set to enter the world of Power Slap, and Dillon Danis has a strong reaction to her new venture. On June 28 in Las Vegas, VanZant will compete in Dana White’s Power Slap promotion for the first time, facing Christine Wolmarans at the Fontainebleau Hotel and Casino. The announcement was made during the UFC Saudi Arabia card on Saturday.
Danis, known for his outspoken nature, commented on VanZant's latest career move with a pointed remark: "Them *** pics ain’t selling like they used to."
VanZant has been a prominent figure in combat sports, transitioning from the UFC to bare-knuckle boxing and influencer boxing. She recently teased a significant announcement, which turned out to be her involvement in Power Slap. VanZant will be the first UFC veteran to compete in this slap-fighting league founded by White, which launched in early 2023.
