Stamp Fairtex is apparently going to take a break from MMA. The Thai Superstar revealed the same during her interview after ONE Fight Night 6 where she had secured a split decision win over Supergirl.
Stamp noted that she is now interested in reclaiming the ONE Kickboxing and Muay Thai titles she once held. Speaking further on the same, Stamp noted that she is taking a break so that Angela Lee can recover from the loss of Victoria Lee.
“I would like to use this time to reclaim my title in kickboxing and boy Thai because I still feel sad about what happened with Angela Lee and Lee family so um that will take a while and after a while I'll go back to MMA for Angela,” Stamp Fairtex said in the post-fight interview.
After her win over Supergirl at ONE Fight Night 6, Stamp Fairtex called out Janet Todd and Allycia Hellen Rodrigues. Stamp said that the call out happened because she wants the titles back.
“Yes, I called out Alicia and Janet Todd because I want to win the title for kickboxing and Muay Thai,” Stamp said.
She is however, not interested in a showdown with Anissa Meksen. Stamp feels that Anissa was unprofessional to pull out of the scheduled fight at ONE Fight Night 6.
“I am not really looking forward to fight with Anissa because I consider this unprofessional,” Stamp added.
