Shavkat Rakhmonov picks Alex Pereira to beat Israel Adesanya at UFC 287

UFC Welterweight Shavkat Rakhmonov feels that Alex Pereira will get the better of Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 287.

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira will lock horns in the main event of UFC 287. This will be a rematch of their first showdown which saw Pereira stopping Adesanya in the fifth round to become the UFC middleweight champion.

Shavkat, who has been unstoppable in the UFC Welterweight division, feels that Pereira is going to emerge as the winner this time around as well.

“To be honest I don't know it's very hard to predict but I think Pereira is gonna look even better,” Shavkat noted in a recent interview with James Lynch on the MMA Pros Pick section.

Jan Blachowicz picks Israel Adesanya

In the same interview, Jan Blachowicz was asked about his prediction for the fight. The UFC star noted that if Adesanya makes adjustments to his game, he could get a win against Pereira.

“This is a very interesting [fight]. It's hard to pick you to know but maybe this time Israel Adesanya, you know he takes his revenge. But he needs to change a little bit in this game. If he can correct a job, he can win this fight, you know. But if you're gonna fight in the same way like in the first fight, he is gonna lose again. So if he changes his game.  Pereira, with all respect for him because he is a great fighter and a great Champion. So he can find a way how to stop him and I think this is not you know something very hard it's 50-50 but I will pick Israel Adesanya this time,” said Jan Blachowicz in the same interview with James Lynch.
