ONE Championship’s first event of 2023 is set to go down this weekend, and it has all the makings of a blockbuster spectacle.

ONE Fight Night 6: Superbon vs. Allazov will feature three World Title fights, a historic mixed rules super-fight, and a laundry list of big names across the card, all of which are guaranteed to keep fight fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

Before the action kicks off at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, this Saturday, 14 January, we take a look at three main reasons why it will be an unmissable showcase of action.

#1 Superbon Singha Mawynn and Chingiz Allazov Finally Do Battle

ONE fans have had to wait almost a year for the World Title tussle between ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn and Grand Prix winner Chingiz Allazov.

It was planned and canceled on two separate occasions in 2022, due to injury and illness, and this has brought anticipation up to almost a fever pitch.

The main event showdown features two fighters at the very top of their game.

Superbon is riding an incredible 12-fight win streak that includes victories over striking legends Marat Grigorian, Giorgio Petrosyan, and Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.

Allazov, for his part, is on a scorching run of his own, winning the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix last year with three incredible performances, and he currently sits in the top-ranked position of the divisional rankings.

A winner in this one is too difficult to pick, meaning it’s going to be a firefight.

#2 A Pair Of World Title Co-Main Events

The featherweight kickboxing strap won’t be the only belt up for grabs at ONE Fight Night 6.

Two other World Title showpieces share the co-main event spot on the stacked card, and fans can bet that both will deliver the goods.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu phenom Mikey Musumeci returns to the Circle to defend his ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion for the first time against an intriguing opponent – 2022 Combat Sambo World Champion Gantumur Bayanduuren.

And immediately following that bout, Thai superstar Superlek Kiatmoo9 is set to take on ultra-aggressive Spanish standout Daniel Puertas for the vacant ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title.

#3 Rodtang Jitmuangnon Returns To Kickboxing

Rodtang Jitmuangnon alone is worth the price of admission.

“The Iron Man” is one of the biggest superstars on the ONE roster, thanks to his all-action style and antics inside and outside the Circle.

He begins his quest to add the flyweight kickboxing strap to his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title on Saturday, when he faces off against Chinese phenom Jidou Yibu.

Yibu will be looking to kick off a title run of his own, which will no doubt result in fireworks when these two collide in kickboxing action.
