Lin Heqin plans to call out Angela Lee after she beats Itsuki Hirata

Lin Heqin has her sights set on the ONE Atomweight World title. The Chinese MMA star, who is all set to fight Itsuki Hirata next, is planning to call out ONE Atomweight champion Angela Lee if she gets a win over Hirata.

Heqin will lock horns with Hirata on August 26, 2022 Friday at ONE on Prime Video 1 Fight card and both fighters will be looking to add a win to their respective resumes.

While Heqin added that it is not up to her when it comes to a showdown with Lee, she admitted that she will indeed callout the reigning champion if she has a chance to do so.

“Well, it's not actually my call. It's up to the promotion, but I will definitely call out Angela Lee if I took this victory right in the cage. So whether I'm going to have the chance or not, I will do that,” Heqin noted (h/t Sportskeeda).

She also went on to detail that she will be 100% prepared for a showdown with Angela Lee if the fight happens in the future. Heqin also gave her thoughts on the fight between Stamp Fairtex and Angela Lee as well.

“That was definitely a great fight but I think Stamp Fairtex let some of the great opportunities slip away. I think she should be more focused on some details in the future. And I think Angela Lee showed that she's still the best in the division. Very well-rounded, very good wrestling, grappling. And if I'm going to have that chance to take on the title, title shot, I will be 100% prepared for her,” Heqin added.
