Atomweight fight between Itsuki Hirata and Lin Heqin to happen at ONE 161
An atomweight fight between Itsuki Hirata and Lin Heqin is set to happen at ONE 161 in August. The fight will take place on the lead card and will be crucial for both the fighters.
Hirata comes into the fight with a record of 5-1 to her name. The Japanese sensation suffered the first loss of her professional MMA career back at ONE X when she was edged out by Jihin Radzuan. Hirata and Jihin went the complete distance in an exciting fight which was ruled in favor of Jihin via a split decision.
Prior to this, Hirata was on a five-fight winning streak having defeated the likes of Alyse Anderson, Miku Nakamura, Nyrene Crowley, Rika Ishige, and Angelie Sabanal. All five of Hirata’s wins came in ONE Championship as well.

Before her professional MMA career, Hirata was undefeated in her amateur MMA career as well with a record of 3-0 to her name with wins at the Fighting Agent War promotion.
Lin Heqin, on the other hand, is 15-3 in her professional MMA career. She is coming off an impressive win against Bi Nguyen at ONE: Bad Blood.
Heqin is 2-1 in ONE Championship at the moment with her only loss coming against Ritu Phogat at ONE: Battleground. Prior to her loss against the Indian MMA star, Heqin was on an impressive 11-fight winning streak that started back in 2017. Heqin started her professional MMA career back in 2015 and has been competing actively for the past eight years.
ONE 161 will be headlined by the ONE Flyweight title bout between Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson. In the co-main event, the Bantamweight Muay-Thai World title will be on the line as well when Nong-O-Gaiyanghadao fights Liam Harrison.

The much-awaited Flyweight Muay-Thai World Grand Prix Semi-final bout between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Savvas Michael will also happen at ONE 161.
