Kwon Won Il challenges Stephen Loman, Team Lakay star accepts

South Korean MMA star Kwon Won Il called out Stephen Loman last day on Instagram and the Filipino MMA star has accepted the challenge.

Kwon Won wrote a long message on Instagram where he offered Loman a chance to avenge the loss of his Team Lakay teammate Kevin Belingon. You can see what Kwon Won wrote below.

“Hey @caliber_sniper , I’ll be ready to get in that circle by November or December this year. Are you ready? I know you’ve been calling me out many times in different interviews and I more than welcome your challenge. I will give you the chance to revenge your teammate, @kevinbelingon ‘s loss to me. I have nothing but respect to you but I’m the only fighter in @onechampionship that can give exciting fight against you because of your boring style. I make every fights the most exciting no matter what style is against me. Our fight is not only trending in the Philippines, but in Korea also. I know you’re too scared to fight me in Korea so I can go to the Philippines if there’s an event there this year or we can even do it in Singapore. Wherever ONE Championship wants me to be in, I’ll be there. Let’s go. I’ll be waiting for you. @yodchatri @slicricauty @michaelpark.0708,” he wrote.

Loman kept his reply short and sweet.

“No problem let's go,” The Filipino wrote.

Both Loman and Kwon Won are two of the top names in the ONE Championship Bantamweight division at the moment. Kwon suffered a loss to Fabricio Andrade in his last fight when Loman has been undefeated in ONE Championship so far.

The South Korean holds a record of 10-4 to his name and prior to his loss to Andrade, he had knocked out Kevin Belingon. Loman, on the other hand, secured wins over Shoko Sato and Yusup Saadulaev in his two fights in ONE Championship.

The discussions about the fight have been ongoing for a long time now but nothing has been made official yet.
