Khabib Nurmagomedov feels that Abu Dhabi is going to provide a home advantage feel for Islam Makhachev when he fights Charles Oliveira.

Speaking on the Mike Finch Show recently, Khabib addressed Oliveira’s preference for fighting in Brazil and laughed off the wish of the former champion.

“Who cares what he wants?. He cannot make the decision; Islam cannot make the decision. We are just fighters. Islam is signed with the UFC and we have to listen to the UFC. Same thing with Charles Oliveira. We don't choose a location. UFC sends us the location, we will fly. It doesn't matter. If they tell us to go to Brazil, OK we're going to Brazil. No problem,” Khabib said (h/t RT Sports)

The former UFC champion went on to add that Abu Dhabi is ‘our’ territory.

“But Abu Dhabi, it's our territory. I think [Oliveira] understands this and he tried to... avoid. But now, it is what it is. We have like 90 days before the fight. We're going to move to Dubai, we're going to be there 40 days before the fight. No jet lag. It's very important because it's the desert, a completely different place. I fought there a couple of times, I know how [it feels]. Islam was always with me, he knows how [it feels],” Khabib added.

Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira are on impressive winning streaks in the UFC at the moment. It would be interesting to see who keeps their streak alive when the fight finally happens.
