Karolina Owczarz is a polish boxer and MMA fighter who was born in Poland back in February 1993.
Starting her journey with boxing
She started her journey in combat sports through boxing at a very young age. Karolina found success in the junior category itself and won the Junior National title in 57 KG Category.
The Polish star also was part of the Polish boxing reality show ‘Reto de Campeonas’ before going on to win Gold Medal in the Polish Women’s Boxing Championships in 2011. Karolina secured multiple medals at national and international competitions afterwards. She had six recorded professional boxing bouts to her name and holds a pro-boxing record of 4-0 to her name. She had one win via knockout as well.

In 2013, she decided to take a break from her boxing career and started pursuing a career in sports journalism.
Transition to MMA
Five years after her break from boxing, Karolina took up Mixed Martial Arts. In the same year, she made her professional MMA debut at KSW 42: Khalidov vs. Narcun. Karolina impressed everyone in her debut and secured a submission win in the first round against Paulina Raszewska.
A year later, she returned for her second MMA fight at KSW 47: The X Warriors. This time around, Karolina secured a split-decision win. in the same year, she secured a submission win over Aleksandra Rola as well making it 3-0 for her.
The first loss of Karolina’s career came in 2020 when she fought Justyna Haba at KSW:56. Haba managed to outclass Karolina across three rounds and took home a decision win.
Although Karolina returned with a win in her next fight, she once again suffered a loss against Sylwia Juskeiwicz. Slywia came into the fight with plenty of experience on her name and had a record of 9-6. She had earlier fought in multiple MMA promotions including RIZIN, IFN, MMA Crank and PLMMA among others.
In her seventh fight, Karolina went up against Natalia Baczynska and secured a decision win.
This win took her professional MMA record to 5-2. Karolina has three wins to her name via decision and two wins via submission. Both her losses, on the other hand, came via unanimous decisions.
She is currently working with KSW and is ranked sixth in the KSW Rankings for Women Strawweight fighters.
