A huge bantamweight showdown between Karan Chauhan and Raj Madhesiya has been announced for Warrior’s Dream Series 4 event. The fight between Karan and Raj will happen on the main card of the event which happens on 25 and 26 March 2023 in Navi Mumbai.
Karan, who has an extensive amateur MMA career to show off, recently turned pro at Sangai MMA in Manipur. He secured a stoppage win at Sangai MMA and will be looking to add another win to his name when he enters the cage against Raj at Warrior’s Dream Series 4. This will also be its promotional debut for Karan.
“Non stop violence from bell to bell. Grateful and thankful every day for all the opportunities I’m getting to be able to live this life I’ve been given, the way I want to be living it,” Karan noted on his Instagram post.
Raj, on the other hand, has competed previously under the Warrior’s Dream Series banner. At Warrior’s Dream Series 1 in Navi Mumbai, Raj managed to get a huge submission win over Gopal Badaila in the first round itself.
He then followed this up with another submission win at Warrior’s Dream Series 2 event which went down in Pune. Raj got a submission win against Anubhav Kashyap at the event and remained undefeated under the Warrior’s Dream Series banner.
Elsewhere, earlier, the promotion had announced a grappling match between Parashmoni Deori and Angel Patil. The event will also feature elimination tournaments across five weight classes with prize money up for grabs for winners and runner-ups.
The event will be streamed live on the LockerRoom India YouTube channel.
