Jake Paul is dissatisfied by the increase in pay-per-view (PPV) price for the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2023.
The price of UFC PPVs on ESPN+ will increase from the current $74.99 to $79.99 starting in 2023 with UFC 283 on January 21. This information was made public yesterday (Wednesday, December 21, 2022). This week, Bellator Welterweight turned boxer Dillon Danis asserted that when he makes his professional debut against Olajide "KSI" Olatunji on January 14, 2023, he will earn more money than any UFC champion.
The aforementioned Paul has discussed the need for increased fighter pay in mixed martial arts since entering the combat sports world (MMA). When "The Problem Child" learned of this information, he performed some basic math.
“Meanwhile a bum whose claim to fame is being Conor [McGregor’s] friend is making a bigger purse to box a YouTuber than all current UFC champions. UFC makes almost $500 million a year. If they were to increase minimum fighter pay to $50K per fight, at most it will cost them $20 million,” Jake Paul Tweeted.

Since he started boxing in the middle of 2018, Paul (6-0) has been on the lookout for his upcoming opponents and has been considering McGregor. When "The Notorious" returned to boxing, a fan on Twitter suggested McGregor should fight for a championship. Paul responded by biting the remark as a result.
“You fight for belts. Last time you fought for a belt was 4 years ago. Lost 3 of your last 4 fights. I would knock you out in the squared circle with one hand tied behind my back. To be fair, in the cage I would need two hands. But same result,” Jake Paul added.
