European MMA star Erko Jun is preparing for the most significant fight of his career as he faces Alexander Wesner in the main event of BRAVE CF 88 on September 28. For Jun, the fight represents more than just another victory — it’s a chance to claim the one achievement missing from his legacy: an MMA world title.
Jun’s rise to stardom has been extraordinary. From spending his childhood in refugee camps to becoming one of Europe’s biggest MMA stars, he has built a diverse career. Alongside his MMA achievements, Jun is also a bodybuilding champion, fitness model, and social media star with over five million followers on Facebook and Instagram. His online presence, including entertaining skits, has earned him endorsement deals and made him one of the wealthiest fighters on the continent.
Despite his success and luxurious life, including a close-knit family, the Bosnian remains focused on one goal: winning a BRAVE CF world title.
Jun's quest for the title began at BRAVE CF 70, where he made a statement in his debut by defeating Marko Drmonjic in under three minutes. He followed up with another first-round knockout on the regional circuit before returning to BRAVE CF at BRAVE CF 81. There, Jun shocked many by quickly finishing former Light Heavyweight title challenger Mohamed Said Maalem in the first round, earning a shot at the Light Heavyweight belt.
In his third consecutive main event for BRAVE Combat Federation, Jun will take on German knockout artist Alexander Wesner, who enters the fight on a five-fight winning streak. A victory for Jun would not only secure the Light Heavyweight title but also cement his place in MMA history.
BRAVE CF 88 will be held in Slovenia on September 28, in association with WFC, marking BRAVE CF’s second event in the country this year following BRAVE CF 81.
