Abdullah Al-Qahtani stops Indian MMA fighter Edukondal Rao at PFL vs Bellator

Indian MMA fighter Edukondal Rao went down fighting in his showdown against Abdulla Al-Qahtani of Saudi Arabia at the PFL vs. Bellator Champs event in Saudi Arabia.

The first round of the fight saw Edukondal Rao almost dropping the hometown favourite. Abdullah, however, was able to recover soon and took control of the fight after this exchange.

Abdullah Al-Qahtani, Saudi Arabia's inaugural representative in the PFL, dominated the second round and the opening minutes of the third round before stopping the Indian who was making his promotional debut.

With the win, Abdullah is now 8-1 in his professional MMA career while Edukondal Rao dropped to 4-2 in his career. Abdullah extended his winning streak to three-fights as well with the win.

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) hosted the landmark PFL Champions vs. Bellator Champions event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, showcasing eleven intense bouts.

Renan Ferreira claimed the spotlight with a lightning-fast TKO victory over Ryan Bader, securing the Super Belt. Johnny Eblen edged out Impa Kasanganay in a tight split decision co-main event.

Notable matchups included Jason Jackson defeating Ray Cooper III and Vadim Nemkov submitting Bruno Cappelozza. Biaggio Ali Walsh, grandson of Muhammad Ali, debuted with a dominant win. The event highlighted the global appeal of MMA, solidifying PFL's commitment to premium experiences for fans worldwide.
