Eduard Folayang details the importance of Stephen Loman vs. Bibiano Fernandes

The bantamweight fight at ONE on Prime Video 4 between Stephen Loman and Bibiano Fernandes has a lot on the line. While former champion Fernandes wants to show that he still belongs at the top, the rising Filipino contender will look to continue his winning streak.

Eduard Folayang, who is never afraid to weigh in on the biggest fights, has his opinion on this title-eliminating contest.

Folayang discussed the potential effects of this battle on 'The Sniper's' future in an interview with ONE Championship.

“Filipino fans are in for a treat. If Stephen Loman can beat Bibiano Fernandes, it will be huge. He will cement his place among the greatest bantamweights in ONE,” Folayang said.

With a staggering total of 23 fights, the two-time lightweight champion Folayang has the most experience in the ring than anyone else in ONE Championship history.

Stephen Loman has been undefeated in ONE Championship so far and he has been on an impressive winning streak as well. The Team Lakay star is a former Bantamweight champion in BRAVE Combat Federation and was one of the longest-reigning champions in the promotion’s history.

He will be looking to replicate the same achievement in the ONE Championship and the first step would be a showdown with Bibiano Fernandes.

Even with his current ONE Championship winning streak, Stephen Loman will need to step up against a legend like Fernandes.
