Team Lakay star Stephen Loman is all set to fight Bibiano Fernandes next. The Filipino will be looking to earn a Bantamweight title shot with a win.
Loman, interestingly, has already tasted championship success as he was the longest reigning Bantamweight Champion in BRAVE Combat Federation. He has been vocal about adding another title to his resume and the major hurdle of Bibiano now stands in front of him.
The Sniper understands that the pressure is on him but it is something that he embraces.
“Of course, there’s pressure to always be on top because you have to maintain that status you’re in. But this is what we wanted to do, and it’s our responsibility to always be one of the best teams out there,” Loman said (h/t Sportskeeda).

Speaking further, he noted that pressure is important for him.
“We’re here already, so we really have to do our best to stay here at the top. But that extra pressure is also a bit of motivation for us. We always have to be positive and keep working to improve on what we are right now… Pressure is also important for me, I have to keep going at him, that's why I’m pushing myself hard in training,” Loman added.
Loman currently holds a professional MMA record of 15-2 to his name and has been undefeated since 2016. He is currently on a 10-fight winning streak and had secured wins over Yusup Saadulaev and Shoko Sato after joining ONE Championship.
Bibiano Fernandes, on the other hand, is 24-5 in his MMA career. He is coming off his title loss against John Lineker and will be looking to get back to winning ways. Bibiano had one of the most exciting rivalries with Loman’s teammate Kevin Belingon which is bound to become a subplot for the upcoming fight.
