VIDEO: David Goggins scare Daniel Cormier while celebrating the win of Jon Jones

The fans have gone absolutely crazy since Jon Jones made a triumphant return to the biggest MMA stage. 'Bones' made a triumphant return as the former UFC light heavyweight champion raised his hand following a convincing victory over Ciryl Gane. Jones is now also named the top pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC.

While the return of Jon Jones was a reason to celebrate for the fans, it was no different for David Goggins. Goggins was in the arena for the fight and he went wild when Jones submitted Gane.

In the process, Goggins also scared former Two-division UFC Champion Daniel Cormier who was in the commentary booth.

Who is David Goggins?

American ultramarathon runner, ultradistance biker, triathlete, public speaker, and author David Goggins was born on February 17, 1975. He was an Iraq War veteran and a retired United States Navy SEAL. Can't Hurt Me: Control Your Mind and Defy the Odds, his self-help biography, was published on December 4, 2018. He makes reference to the 40% rule—his theory that most people only use 40% of their potential—in the book.

The follow-up book Never Finished: Unshackle Your Mind and Win the Battle Within, which will be released on December 4, 2022, analyses the ideas, psychological insights, and techniques that enabled Goggins to reach his potential and the idea that the quest for perfection is an ongoing process.
