As per sports data firm Bonusfinder, Conor McGregor charges €149,000 ($150,945) for every post he collaborates with a brand. That is around 1 Crore 19 lakh Indian rupees per post. Interestingly, he is not in the top ten when it comes to earnings per post.

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo earns the most as he gets around $2 Million for each post he makes in collaboration with a brand. Lionel Messi is in second with $1 Million. Hollywood star and former WWE superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock' Johnson is level with Messi at $1 Million for each post.

Meanwhile, Indian Cricket Virat Kohli earns a whopping $694,509 per post when Brazilian footballer Neymar earns around $584,956 for his posts. Lebron James, David Beckham, Kylian Mbappe, Ronaldinho and Marcelo are in the top 10 as well with Marcelo earning $191,384 which is above Conor McGregor.

Conor has around 45.9 million followers on his Instagram page while Cristiano Ronaldo has 476 million followers. Lionel Messi has 358 million followers on the platform. Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has 212 million followers on Instagram.

Highest paid athlete in the world

Conor McGregor was the highest-paid athlete in the world a couple of years back. He was above the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the list which was published by Forbes. However, a major portion of McGregor’s income that year came thanks to his Proper Twelve Whiskey business. The Irishman was not in the top five in the year that followed.
