BRAVE Combat Federation's much-anticipated return to Slovenia for BRAVE CF 88 has a new co-main event. Lithuanian heavyweight Pavel Dailidko will now face Polish knockout artist Patryk Dubiela for the inaugural BRAVE CF Heavyweight title after Azamat Nuftillaev was forced to withdraw from the fight.

Dubiela steps into the bout following an impressive performance at BRAVE CF 81, where he stopped Kasim Aras in under a minute. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, Dubiela trains with former BRAVE CF Super Welterweight champion Marcin Bandel and hopes to bring another title to Poland.

Dailidko enters the fight on a four-fight finishing streak, including a second-round stoppage of Valdrin Istrefi at BRAVE CF 81. In 2023, he made history by becoming the first BRAVE CF fighter to secure three first-round knockouts in a single year.

Despite the last-minute change, the Heavyweight title fight remains one of the most significant bouts in BRAVE CF history. The Heavyweight division is the only weight class yet to crown a champion.

BRAVE CF 88, scheduled for September 28, will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight title fight between Erko Jun and Alexander Wesner and will feature top MMA athletes from around the world. The event marks BRAVE CF’s second visit to Slovenia this year, following BRAVE CF 81.
