BRAVE CF 88 delivered a historic night for mixed martial arts in Slovenia as two new champions were crowned in front of a sold-out crowd. Erko Jun captured the Light Heavyweight title in the main event, while Pavel Dailidko claimed the inaugural Heavyweight title in the co-main event.
In the main event, Jun controlled the first round with a series of kicks to Alexander Wesner’s lead leg, slowing down his opponent. Despite suffering a cut in the second round during a ground exchange, Jun’s leg kicks proved decisive. In the fourth round, Jun finished Wesner with a low leg kick to become the new Light Heavyweight champion.
In the co-main event, Dailidko made quick work of Patryk Dubiela, defending takedown attempts and delivering powerful ground-and-pound strikes for a first-round TKO victory. The win secured Dailidko’s place as the first BRAVE CF Heavyweight champion.
In a thrilling fight, Monika Kučinič defeated Fabiola Pidroni by split decision after three intense rounds, while Luka Podkrajšek scored a TKO victory over Michele Mirabella, despite fighting with a broken rib.
BRAVE CF 88 marked the organization’s second event in Slovenia this year, held in partnership with WFC. Next, BRAVE CF heads to Spain for BRAVE CF 89 on October 19.
