BRAVE CF 80: A Year-End Spectacle of Global MMA Showcases

As 2023 comes to a close, BRAVE Combat Federation, recognized as the most global MMA organization, is set to conclude the year with a historic fight card. Scheduled for December 15 in Bahrain, BRAVE CF 80 boasts a lineup featuring top-tier fighters, the best amateur female fighter of all time, and a special showdown between the UK & Ireland and Arab Legends.

The main event spotlights Bantamweight world champion Jose "Shorty" Torres defending his title against Nkosi Ndebele in an immediate rematch from BRAVE CF 73 in Bogota, Colombia. Torres secured the vacant title in their previous encounter with a razor-thin split decision, prompting fan requests and controversy that led to the decision for an immediate rematch.

Before the title clash, BRAVE CF 80 features the return of Arab legend Jarrah Al-Silawi, BRAVE CF's all-time victories leader, in a Middleweight feature bout against Nenad Avramovich. Al-Silawi aims to make history by becoming the first fighter with 10 BRAVE CF wins.

Adding to the excitement, a special set of five fights will see UK & Ireland fighters face off against elite talent from the Arab MMA world. Representing Team Arab Legends are Hussein Ayyad (Bahrain, Flyweight), Ahmed Labban (Lebanon, Super Welterweight), Mahmoud Sebie (Egypt, Super Lightweight), Izzedine Al-Derbani (Jordan, Bantamweight), and Abbas Khan (Bahrain, Lightweight). Mohammed Alsameea (Flyweight, Bahrain) and Abdulla Al-Yaqoob (Bahrain, Bantamweight) will join the lineup.

On the other side, Team UK & Ireland includes Gerard Burns (Flyweight, Ireland), Jack Grant (England, Super Welterweight), Oscar Ownsworth (England, Super Lightweight), Dean Garnett (England, Bantamweight), and Stefano Catacoli (England, Lightweight).

The early prelims promise two headline-worthy women's division fights, featuring the much-anticipated professional debuts of two top IMMAF fighters. Sabrina de Sousa, the sole woman to clinch three IMMAF world titles, faces Rewan Yasser in a Bantamweight bout, while Fabiola Nascimento takes on Jleana Valentino at Strawweight.

BRAVE CF 80 marks the culmination of a dynamic year for the organization, hosting six events in four countries during November and December alone, with three events as part of the prestigious BRAVE International Combat Week. As the year-end spectacle approaches, fight fans can anticipate an electrifying showcase of global MMA talent, making BRAVE CF 80 an unmissable event on the international fight calendar
