After two years of anticipation, Gerard “The Animal” Burns will finally meet Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev in the co-main event of BRAVE CF 100, set for Friday, Nov. 7, at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain. The matchup will crown the inaugural BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion.
“This is the fight I’ve wanted from the moment I signed with BRAVE CF,” Burns said. “I’ve watched Mokaev dominate, but now it’s my turn to put my hands on him and see how he handles me.”
Mokaev, born in Dagestan and raised in England, remains unbeaten at 15-0, with seven submission victories and two knockouts. A two-time IMMAF World Champion (2019, 2020), Mokaev began his professional career with BRAVE CF, winning four of five bouts before returning in late 2024 with a first-round submission over Joevincent So.

Burns, 29, has stormed through the division since joining BRAVE CF in 2023. With four consecutive wins — including a decision over Alinson “El Chompiras” Ochoa at BRAVE CF 97 — the Irish standout has earned his long-awaited shot.
“I’ve worked for this moment,” Burns said. “Mokaev’s a phenomenal fighter, but I’m coming to give him the toughest test of his life. I’m not here just to compete; I’m here to take that belt.”
As the unbeaten Mokaev looks to cement his dominance, Burns enters BRAVE CF 100 confident he can make history — and prove that even the most feared can fall.
